Gospel in Life Groups – Not too late to get connected
At The Village, we often say that the Gospel changes everything. The question some of us may naturally ask then is "What exactly is the Gospel?" and "How does believing the Gospel lead to transformation?" We invite you to explore this question and the deep ramifications of living in light of the Gospel in everyday life. The groups will center their discussion around biblical concepts that flesh out the Gospel and will incorporate video teaching clips from Tim Keller's "Gospel in Life" material. Check out the video promo to get a glimpse: http://vimeo.com/9330463 Groups have begun meeting on Wednesday evenings so contact Pastor Dan for more info. This Sunday Parking Notice
Honfest is going on in our very neighborhood this weekend and we encourage you to enjoy the festivities after worship. Because our worship gathering begins before the day's activities, we should not be directly affected. However, if you have any difficulty finding parking, the lot behind the Rotunda (off of Elm between 40th and 38th) is open and is only 2 & 1/2 blocks from our facility. In any event, you may want to give yourself a few extra minutes to make it on time.

March 31st, 2010:
Greetings Village people! Bunch of good stuff going on as we enter Easter weekend so keep reading for the news to know:
Good Friday Worship – This Friday, 7pm
As we remember the sacrificial death of Jesus, join us for a special time of worship and remembrance to be held at The Village. As a sign of identifying with the suffering of our Lord, we invite you to take time to fast and pray on Friday in preparation for worship.
Easter Sunday – 11 am
Easter Sunday will be a joyful time of worshipping in the resurrection of Jesus, especially as we celebrate new life through baptisms. Be intentional about considering friends and family to invite to share this special worship with them.
Easter Community Lunch
Immediately following Easter worship, we will be hosting a lunch to serve our neighbors. If you have not RSVP'd you're still welcome show, but if you can, shoot a last minute email to Dan Hyun: dan@villagechurchbaltimore.com. The invitation can be extended to any and all who could be blessed through this.
We are hoping that all Village people can be involved in serving through this opportunity. We can use volunteers to help with cooking, welcoming, set up, and especially clean up. Please contact judie@villagechurchbaltimore.
